Forage and animal specialists with the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture will host an Advanced Kentucky Grazing School June 18 at the UK Research and Education Center in Princeton.

This is the second year for the one-day event that targets producers who have participated in at least one other UK grazing program. It is the first time the program has been offered in Western Kentucky.

The University of Kentucky College of Agriculture Robinson Center for Appalachian Resource Sustainability is hosting an evening focused on basic equine and forage management at its next installment of the Mountain Monday Series May 13.

The upcoming field day will offer up-to-date information and cutting edge research regarding Kentucky wheat production.

Brazilian leaders in no-till recently honored the late UK agronomist Shirley Phillips for his contributions to no-till that greatly improved agriculture  in that country.
