UK Father, Son Share Ambition to Impact UK, the World

Read about the positive impact one of our entomologists and his son are making on campus.

From a very early age, University of Kentucky junior Roshan Palli saw the ambition in the eyes of his father, UK Entomology Professor Subba Palli. As a child, he would follow his father into his lab at the UK College of Agriculture, Food and Environment.

Today, Roshan is showing his father and the rest of campus that he has ambition, too.  Last spring, the mathematical economics major, who earned a perfect SAT score and won a Singletary Scholarship to attend UK, was elected president of the Student Government Association, and in turn, became the student representative to the UK Board of Trustees as a sophomore.

Watch the video feature above to discover how this father and son grew to become leaders on campus in their respective fields and the impact they hope to have on the university they both love.
