University of Kentucky invites high schoolers to Ag is for All Conference

The University of Kentucky, Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Office of Access, Community and Engagement and the UK Center for Student Success have partnered to host the fourth annual Ag is for All on Nov. 4.
The conference is designed for high school students interested in exploring academic programs at Martin-Gatton CAFE, giving prospective agriculture students the opportunity to immerse themselves in UK’s dynamic agriculture environment.
“The Ag is for All Conference wasn’t created just to showcase our resources; it was designed to bring them directly to prospective students and their families,” said Kendriana Price, assistant dean for community relations and engagement at Martin-Gatton CAFE. “As they navigate the important journey of choosing a college, we want to ensure our future Wildcats have everything they need to make a confident and informed decision.”
The conference’s goal is to help students apply to college, specifically Martin-Gatton CAFE, access scholarships and complete financial aid forms. Participants will also be able to engage with current faculty, staff and students.

For me, the Ag is for All Conference is about opening doors to help future students find support, resources and a sense of community here at the University of Kentucky in the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment,” said Nijae Aklin, a senior student in Equine Science and Management.
Ag is for All takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 4 at the Gatton Student Center on campus. To register, visit https://www.mgcafe.uky.edu/events/2025/ag-is-for-all-conference-2025. For groups larger than 10, please reach out to Kendriana Price at kendriana.price@uky.edu to receive a bulk rate.
“This conference offers more than an introduction,” Price said. “It reflects our strong community and dynamic learning environment. It’s a first glimpse into the experience that awaits, where students are supported, encouraged and inspired to grow from day one.”
