LEXINGTON, Ky.—
Poison hemlock, or deadly hemlock as it is also called, is poisonous to both humans
and animals. Poison hemlock has been the topic of conversation at county extension
offices around the area this spring and summer, and Sharon Flynt, horticulture agent from the
Scott County Extension Office, has been fielding a lot of calls about poison hemlock as she
explains on From the Ground Up.
