Even if you don’t consider yourself a gardener, lots of people probably still grow at least a couple of tomato plants. Amanda Sears, Horticulture Extension agent in Madison County, reports according to studies done at the University of Illinois, tomatoes are the most popular vegetable grown in the US. But despite how much we love tomatoes, they can be a bit finicky. But those problems can be avoided with a little extra care.
