Horse Pasture Evaluation Program
There is a unique opportunity for students to learn more about the makeup of pastures that horses graze, and it is program that benefits both students and horse farm owners. It’s the Horse Pasture Evaluation Program at the University of Kentucky. The program has been around since 2005 and dozens of students have received valuable experience on how to evaluate pastures on horse farms and conduct independent research. The program makes for an exciting and fun summer forstudents.
