Ag Biotech junior receives NSF fellowship

Meet Emily Major, a junior University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food and Environment Ag Biotechnology major with minors in Neuroscience and Psychology. Since her freshman year, Emily has participated in undergraduate research working in Dr. Luke Bradley's lab.
Emily recently received an NSF Kentucky EPSCOR Undergraduate Research Fellowship for this academic year. The fellowship includes support for summer research, lab supplies, and travel to present at a national meeting. Emily has had great success through the UK Office of Undergraduate Research's Bucks for Brains program, as well as presenting at Posters-at-the-Capitol and NCUR.
