Eastern Tent Caterpillars make their 2024 Kentucky debut
The insect is infamous for its connection with the 2001 Mare Reproductive Loss Syndrome outbreak, resulting in a significant economic loss to Kentucky’s equine industry. Despite the time that has passed, University of Kentucky entomologists say vigilance is still required.
